Earlier today, we welcomed Trudy Harrison, Member of Parliament for Copeland, to our recently opened office at Westlakes Science Park. Our team discussed with Trudy our rich heritage, unique capabilities and how our move from Cleator Moor to Westlakes underpins our business’ continued growth.

Our Head of Consultancy North Rob Thied and his team explained how our consultants add value to complex nuclear projects by achieving programme and delivery clarity through structured methodologies that de-risk delivery.

Following the office visit, our team introduced Trudy to Karen Jones, Managing Director of our fantastic charity partner Home to Work, during a tour of the Home to Work gardens and kitchen.

The Home to Work site enables its learners to grow fresh produce and then prepare and cook it for training purposes, providing them with the skills and confidence to return to work.

Our Sustainability Manager James Rudd explained to Trudy that our collaboration with Home to Work has allowed us to maintain and grow our connection with the town that incubated the growth of our consultancy capability in West Cumbria and continue to support our local community.

Trudy kindly invited Karen to Westminster to raise further awareness of the good work the charity is doing in West Cumbria.
