Supporting Cumbria’s Future Workforce Through Social Value Partnership < back to all news As part of our social value and sustainability plan, we’re delighted to play a small part in supporting Cumbria Youth Alliance (CYA), an organisation making a lasting difference to young people, communities and the future workforce in Cumbria. Through our support to the OneAIM Framework (Integrated Asset Care) on the Sellafield site, NSG was invited to participate in a voluntary corporate sponsorship initiative focused on delivering a tangible and lasting social value legacy for the region. The initiative is a collective effort that is uniting the AXIOM and OneAIM Supplying Partners to deliver a real tangible social value legacy. As part of our sustainability plan, NSG has donated £500 to CYA, a charity dedicated to empowering young people to reach their full potential, strengthening the youth sector, and making sure young voices are heard in the decisions that affect them. CYA is currently developing the Benny Walker Centre in Workington, a new space co-designed with young people that will bring together local and national partners to offer support with employment, wellbeing, training and life skills, all under one roof. It’s a brilliant example of what’s possible when organisations come together around young people. < back to all news
